As a tone obsessed guitar player and record collector, I have always had a passion for analog music gear. After playing and touring professionally for 10 years, and recording/producing several full length albums, I had an opportunity to go deeper into my other love of Electrical Engineering.
I was fortunate to study under Mathematician and Electronics Test Engineer - Jim Kramer - at the Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery in Phoenix, AZ. After completing course study I was offered an apprenticeship where I further learned the art and science of analog circuit design, analysis, and repair, by using the same methods my teacher learned while serving in the U.S. Navy during the 1970's.
Following my apprenticeship I started building pedals for amp guru Lowell Hunt of Hunt Amps. With that experience under my belt I decided it was time to start making original designs, doing my own repairs, and selling some of the amazing vintage audio devices I come across and refurbish.
I like to feel that I have brought a higher level of service and quality to musicians in Southern Arizona. I truly love what I do, and I’m thankful to all the local musicians and players who make that possible.
